Job Description: The LPN at Goshen Medical Center is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for the assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care of patients. The employee will utilize the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice, and coordination of care with other health team members.
Credentials:
* North Carolina LPN License
* CPR/BLS Certification
* Licensure and Certification(s) must be current and must be maintained as a condition of employment.
* 2-years Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse experience in a clinical setting (e.g. health care clinic, hospital, etc.)
Examples of Job Responsibilities:
* Conduct patient work-up
* Assist primary care provider
* Assist with medical procedures (e.g. labs, dispersion of medications, etc.)
* Assess patient vital signs
* Document patient EMR information (e.g. patient vitals, medication reconciliation, etc.)
* Provide assistance with patient referrals and authorizations
* Assist in coverage of additional Goshen Medical Center facilities with daily operations as required
* Medical office administration (e.g. patient check-in, patient check-out, etc.)
* Supervision of RN/LPN/CNA/CMA clinical staff, as assigned.
